Thank you to everyone who joined our weekly Wednesday walks, our NewActon guided tours, and contributed to our key community project this year – The Sunken Stories of Old Acton. We are thrilled to see so many people enjoying the many videos, images and maps on the new website www.sunkenstories.com.

While we will be taking a break over the holiday season, we are informed that NewActon is still very much open for business, with a variety of dining options available from the 27th December onwards at The Monster Bar, The Parlour Bar, A. Baker, Močan & Green Grout, Bicycletta, and TwentyOne Cafe. 

We can also highly recommend taking a relaxing boat trip with Lake Burley Griffin Cruises (ask Jim or Garnett about options to bring your own drinks and nibbles for a twilight tour).
